PHOTOGRAPHER AND JOURNALIST

I studied Political Science, but soon became a travel journalist. I worked as Editor and Editor-in-Chief in several paper magazines. During my travels I began to become interested in photography. How could I not portray those corners, those landscapes, characters, facades and streets? Everything is so beautiful and so diverse, so strange at times and so close.

The hobby led me to obsession, and I trained during an intensive year in EFTI (Professional Photography). And then, like almost all photographers, I began to explore my style in a self-taught way, traveling and shooting. Looking for that object, that space, that look. Investigating colors, textures and shapes. Always testing.

Later I started my own photography company (Mediatrex), and since I missed writing and interviewing so much, I founded Golf Basics Magazine.

A phrase from the great Robert Capa accompanies me at all stages of the journey. A silent whistle that tells me: If your photographs are not good, it means that you have not gotten close enough.
